The Jamaican is determined to continue his domination of the 100m and 200m circuit for the next three years, although he hinted that he may quit the sport earlier if he feels he is no longer the world's best.

Bolt is currently in Brussels preparing for his final race of another successful season at the Van Damme Memorial on Friday.

The 27-year-old collected three gold medals at the world championships in Russia last month, taking his career medal tally to eight golds and two silvers.

Successful defence

He successfully defended his Olympic 100m and 200m titles in London last year, and he wants to bow out as a reigning Olympic champion in Rio.

"I think it will be a good time to retire, on top and just been dominating for so long," said Bolt, whose world-record runs at the world championships in Berlin in 2009 remain unbeaten.

"If I want to be among the greats of Muhammad Ali and Pele and all these guys I have to continue dominating until I retire."
