Henrik Stenson produced a moment of brilliance from the fairway to kickstart his fledgling opening round at the US Open.
The Open Champion had struggled during the early part of the day and reached the turn four over, only to bounce back in style at the par-four 11th.
Stenson had cancelled out an opening-hole blemish with a 10-foot gain at the next, only to slide down the leaderboard with four bogeys in a six-hole stretch from the fourth.
The Swede posted a par at the 10th before seeing his round come to life at the par-four next, where he found the middle of the fairway from the tee.
Just over 150 yards away from the hole, Stenson attacked the flag and saw his approach rattle the pin and drop straighintoto the cup for a hole-out eagle.
