Iconic Masters images, one day to go: Jack Nicklaus' raised putter

With just a day to go until the Masters, we complete our countdown of iconic Augusta images by focusing on Jack Nicklaus’ infamous celebration on his way claiming the Green Jacket in 1986.
23 years on from his first Masters victory, Nicklaus produced an astonishing back-nine 30 to claim a sixth Augusta success and become the oldest major winner in history.
The 46-year-old was four strokes off the lead heading in to the final round, where he moved up the leaderboard with a hat-trick of birdies from the ninth.
The Golden Bear's hopes appeared over when he missed the 12th green and bogeyed, but he responded with a two-putt birdie at the 13th and rolling in a 12-foot eagle at the 15th.
Nicklaus added another birdie at the 16th, before memorably raising his putter with his left hand as he walked home an 18-foot gain at the next to grab the outright lead.

A par at the last saw Nicklaus set the clubhouse target at nine under, which was enough to claim a one-shot win when Norman and Tom Kite couldn't find a final-hole birdie.
