Korean trio lead chasing pack in Singapore

Japan's Ai Miyazato and American Juli Inkster both produced rounds of 69 to secure a share of the lead after the third round of the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore. Miyazato, produced three birdies as well as two bogeys, but pulled level with Inkster after firing an eagle-two on the 16th. The 24-year-old is seeking to secure back-to-back wins following her success at the season-opening Honda PTT LPGA Thailand last weekend. Veteran Inkster, looking for her 32nd LPGA Tour title, dropped just one shot and carded four birdies at the Tanah Merah Country Club as the 49-year-old. The pair, who now stand at seven-under-par, have opened up a two-shot lead on the chasing pack. That is led by South Korean trio Park Hee-young (69), Sun Young-yoo (71) and Hee Won-han (71) who are tied for third alongside Momoko Ueda (68) of Japan. American Cristie Kerr (71), Taiwan's golden girl Yani Tseng and Norway's Suzann Pettersen (72), are a further shot back but remain well-placed for a run at the title heading into Sunday's final round. Overnight leaders Angela Stanford and Kim Song-hee endured disappointing rounds that saw them fall back down the leaderboard. Stanford could muster no better than a two-over-par 74 to sit four shots off the pace in a share of 10th, while Kim is a further stroke back following a three-over 75.
