Sergio Garcia removes shoe before playing shot near water in Dubai

Sergio Garcia briefly removed some items of clothing after getting himself into difficulty during the third round of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
A few weeks on from compatriot Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano stripping to his underwear to play a shot on the PGA Tour, Garcia considered removed clothing of his own at Emirates Golf Club.
The midway leader bounced back from an opening-hole bogey to birdie the next before getting himself in to bother with a stray tee shot at the par-three seventh.
With his ball landing precariously close to the hazard, Garcia initially removed his right shoe and sock and cautiously attempted to take a stance in the water.
The Spaniard then had second thoughts and decided to put the items back on, instead balancing on the very edge of the water to play his second shot.
