Ahead of the British Masters supported by Sky Sports, Andrew "Beef" Johnston took time away from practice at The Grove to discuss his meteoric rise to golfing stardom over the last year.
Johnston has become one of the most recognisable characters in the game since he leapt to prominence by winning the Open de Espana title on a brutally tough Valderrama course back in April.
His easy-going manner and willingness to interact with the spectators have established him as a firm fan favourite all over the world, although it is often overlooked that he is also a world-class player as well!
Beef enjoyed excellent weeks at The Open and the PGA Championship, and he has also recently earned the right to play on the PGA Tour next season after good performances on the Web.com Tour in the United States.
The 27-year-old joined Henni Zuel for a live interview on the Sky Sports Facebook page, and he talked us through his unexpected rise to fame, how he stays grounded, and how he keeps his focus on the job in hand.
