Louis Oosthuizen came in to the European Tour’s season-opening Alfred Dunhill Championship with high hopes of victory, but faced an early exit after one horror hole during the second round at Leopard Creek.

The highest ranked player in the field made a steady start to the week with a two-under 70 in the opening round, only to plummet down the leaderboard after having a disaster at the par-three seventh.

After finding the bunker off the tee, Oosthuizen's chip raced across the green and trickled down in to the hazard, only for things to go from bad to worse after heading to the drop zone.
