After Andy Sullivan cruised to a nine-shot victory at the Portugal Masters, we take a look at the facts and figures of his season ...

• It was Sullivan's third win of the season - and his career - after his previous victories at the South African Open and the Joburg Open in the first two months of 2015

• He moves into 15th place in the Race to Dubai standings, with 1,237,903 points from 24 events played

• Sullivan is expected to move into the top 45 of the Official World Golf Ranking, from 66th last week

• Sullivan failed to win any of his first 84 starts on the European Tour, but he has now won three of his last 23 tournaments

• His previous best performance in the Portugal Masters was a tie for 37th in 2012

• Sullivan's winning score of 261 matches the lowest winning total of the 2015 European Tour season, set by Thomas Pieters at the KLM Open. It was also a tournament record in Portugal, beating Steve Webster's 263 in 2007

• The winning margin of nine shots is the biggest of the 2015 European Tour season, beating Branden Grace's seven-shot triumph at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

• Sullivan is the fifth Englishman since 2007 to win the Portugal Masters, following Steve Webster (2007), Lee Westwood (2009), Tom Lewis (2011) and David Lynn (2013)

• He is the eighth Englishman to win three times in a single season since the European Tour was established in 1972, emulating the likes of Peter Oosterhuis, Sir Nick Faldo, Lee Westwood, and Luke Donald. It was also the 300th victory by an English player on the European Tour, and the 10th this year

• Sullivan is the first three-time winner this season, and the seventh player to win his first three European Tour titles in the same season after Sandy Lyle (1979), Ronan Rafferty (1989), Alex Cejka (1995), Fredrik Jacobson (2003), Johan Edfors (2006), and Branden Grace (2012)

• The winner's cheque of €333,330 is a career-best for Sullivan, who is now exempt on the European Tour until the end of the 2017 season
