Christel Boeljon held her nerve on home soil to win the Deloitte Ladies Open in Amsterdam by four shots.

The 27-year-old thrilled spectators as she closed with a two-under-par 71 for a wire-to-wire victory over The International course.

She completed 54 holes in 10-under-par to end up four clear of Finland’s Ursula Wikstrom and Danish rookie Emily Kristine Pedersen.

In three rounds, Boeljon carded just two bogeys, one which came at the fifth hole on Sunday.

Her victory was the first by a Dutch player on home soil since Liz Weima won the tournament in 1994.
