Ian Poulter is in danger of missing out on qualification for the Open Championship after posting a first round 70 at Woburn in Final Qualifying.
Poulter is hoping to claim a last-minute ticket to this year's Open at Royal Birkdale today, at one of five Open Final Qualifying events.
The former Open runner-up, who missed last year's event at Royal Troon through injury, is one of a number of players chasing one of 15 places available across five venues.
Poulter shot a two-under-par 70 in his morning round, leaving him two shots off the lead at Woburn, where 2018 Ryder Cup captain Thomas Bjorn and two-time US Open champion Retief Goosen also feature.
European Tour regulars Matthew Southgate and Eddie Pepperell are among those in action at Royal Cinque Ports, while Scottish pair Marc Warren and Scott Jamieson are involved at Gailes Links.
Jamie Donaldson is in the field at Hillside, where Matthew Baldwin and Tom Lewis are also in action, with Notts Hollinwell hosting the other qualifying event.
Each venue has three qualifying spots up for grabs, with a play-off taking place at each venue where there is a tie for one of the places after 36 holes.
