Nick Freeman's second-half penalty rescued a point for Wycombe in their 1-1 draw with Accrington.
The midfielder smashed home from the spot after referee Brett Huxtable adjudged a high foot in the Stanley penalty area, with Wanderers levelling up 18 minutes from time.
That preserved their unbeaten record at home this season while Stanley - who had opened the scoring through Dion Charles - were denied a first win on the road.
Midfielder Charles headed past Ryan Allsop with five minutes of the first half remaining, profiting from the good work of Jordan Clark who had the beating of his marker before his cross found Charles.
That was just rewards for a Stanley side that dominated in patches at Adams Park, Clark pulling the strings with an early half-volley saved by Allsop.
Charles then put the visitors ahead but Wycombe came out firing after the break, David Wheeler heading over the bar.
Freeman levelled late on but Wycombe were hanging on for a home point, Sean McConville's rasping effort well-saved by Allsop.
