Highlights of the Sky Bet Championship match between Wolves and MK Dons.

Wolves failed to improve their recent disappointing home form as they were held to a frustrating 0-0 Sky Bet Championship stalemate by battling MK Dons at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.

Kenny Jackett's side have now failed to win any of their last four home games - taking just two points from 12 in the process.

They should really have ended that dismal run against MK Dons as they dominated the match only to be let down in front of goal.

Karl Robinson's Dons team fought a determined rearguard action to pick up just their sixth point on the road this season.

Benik Afobe, who scored 19 goals on loan for the Dons last season before joining Wolves from Arsenal for £2million in January, and James Henry were both guilty of squandering excellent chances as Jackett's side collected a third successive draw in a run that has seen them win once in eight games.

Following an extremely low key opening spell, Dons winger Josh Murphy finally sparked the game into life when he drilled his angled free-kick into the side netting from 25 yards in the 13th minute.

That let-off woke Wolves from their slumbers and they should have taken total control of affairs after a five minute purple patch.

But Henry wasted two golden chances, shooting wide in the 15th minute after Diego Poyet had lost possession and then just failing to divert home a Jordan Graham cross three minutes later.

Afobe was then picked out at the far post by Henry only to see his weak shot smothered by goalkeeper David Martin.

Henry was a constant menace but was again let down by his finishing in the 27th minute when he failed to hit the target after a surging run into the penalty area.

He turned provider three minutes later to set up Afobe whose close range header was comfortably dealt with by Martin.

Martin was becoming over-worked and twice in the space of two minutes he frustrated Graham - saving at his near post and then turning away his cross as Dave Edwards waited to pounce.

On the stroke of half-time, Afobe then squandered another excellent opportunity, this time lifting the ball over the bar from eight yards following more good work from the lively Henry.

Afobe's aim was off again in the opening stages of the second period, again being denied by Martin before seeing his close range shot deflected for a corner.

Kevin McDonald fired wide and Edwards headed over the bar as the Dons continued to ride their luck.

Nicky Maynard did give Robinson's side a slight respite with a rare attacking foray in the 68th minute only to see his effort comfortably saved by Carl Ikeme.

But that did give the Dons some belief and substitute Carl Baker came close to stunning Wolves after 76 minutes when his 25 yard drive was spectacularly tipped around the post by Ikeme.

Ikeme then had to come to Wolves' rescue again in stoppage time, this time denying substitute Daniel Powell as the Dons finished with an unexpected flourish.
