Matthew Dolan scored from inside his own half as Yeovil sprung an EFL Cup shock by beating Sky Bet League One Walsall 2-0 after extra-time.
Dolan spotted Saddlers goalkeeper Neil Etheridge outside his area and unleashed a stunning strike from almost 60 yards to seal the Glovers' progress after an Amadou Bakayoko own goal had put them ahead.
Darren Way's underdogs shaded the first half and should have led after 22 minutes as they broke swiftly from a Walsall corner but Ryan Hedges steered Liam Shephard's low cross over from 12 yards.
Walsall improved after the break but missed two golden chances in the last 15 minutes as Simeon Jackson glanced a free header wide from six yards and sub Bakayoko skied over from even closer in.
Bakayoko's night went from bad to worse as he inadvertently diverted Kevin Dawson's bullet header into his own net to give Yeovil the lead 13 minutes into extra time.
Walsall almost equalised a minute later but the out-of-luck Bakayoko rattled the crossbar from 25 yards and Dolan's wonder-strike sealed Yeovil's progress nine minutes from the end.
