Genoa won a third straight Serie A game on Sunday with a 4-2 triumph at Udinese to end the Friulian outfit's unbeaten home run.
Each team scored twice in the opening half but Alessandro Matri put the visitors in front for good in the 54th minute.
Udinese wasted several chances to equalise before substitute Juraj Kucka netted Genoa's fourth goal late on.
Genoa, the only side to have beaten league leaders Juventus this season, climbed to fifth while Udinese slumped to eighth with their third defeat in four games.
The Bianconeri took the lead in the opening minute.
Panagiotis Kone set up Antonio Di Natale in the heart of the area and the veteran captain struck an angled drive past helpless Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin.
The Rossoblu almost pulled level 10 minutes later but Matri's 14-yard attempt was saved by Udinese goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis.
Karnezis could do nothing to prevent Genoa equalising shortly after, however, when Giovanni Marchese hit a bullet strike from 25 yards into the bottom-right corner of the goal.
Genoa took the lead in the 24th minute when Iago Falque slotted into an empty net after Karnezis had failed to hold onto Edenilson's close-range shot.
The home side reacted and restored parity in the 41st minute.
Di Natale fed Silvan Widmer on the right side of the area and he struck a right-footed shot towards the far post to beat Perin.
Genoa took the lead nine minutes into the second half when Falque spotted Matri in the box and his first touch went past Karnezis and found the back of the net.
Udinese continued to press forward and in the 79th minute, Danilo came close but his header went over the bar.
Shortly after, substitute Luis Muriel wasted a good chance when he struck the ball wide from a good position with only Perin left to beat.
Genoa rubber-stamped all three points when Kucka drilled a bullet strike from outside the area to beat Karnezis.
