Team news for Easter Monday's League Two clash between Stockport County and Northampton at Edgeley Park.
Stockport welcome back Greg Tansey, although whether caretaker boss Ray Mathias opts to make changes remains to be seen. Mathias watched his side keep their slim survival hopes alive with Saturday's impressive 2-1 triumph at play-off chasing Port Vale and may be reluctant to make changes, with anything other than victory on Easter Monday set to relegate the Hatters. County's ranks will be monitored on Sunday to ensure everyone has recovered from the usual bumps, knocks and bruises that will have been picked up at Vale Park. But Mathias can welcome back midfielder Tansey after he served the second game of his two-match suspension against the Burslem outfit. Midfielder Paul Turnbull and striker Mat Paterson will again be assessed having missed out recently due to injury. Leon McKenzie is pushing for a start for Northampton. The striker came off the bench to inspire a second-half comeback on Good Friday by scoring as the Cobblers came from 2-0 down to claim a point at home to Rotherham and could start at Edgeley Park. Captain Andy Holt - who has been handed a coaching role by manager Gary Johnson - also made his comeback from a knee injury as a late substitute and could come back into the side as they search for a first win in 18 games. Striker Billy McKay is back in the squad after six weeks out with a dislocated elbow but midfielder Ryan Gilligan has been ruled out for the rest of the season after an ankle operation. Defender John Johnson is out with a recurrence of his thigh problem while midfielder Kevin Thornton has a knee problem and goalkeeper Chris Dunn will miss out again with his head injury.
