Millers' winning run comes to an end
Rotherham's run of three league wins was ended by a vastly-improved Shrewsbury side who won for only the second time in 10 games with a 2-0 triumph at the Prostar Stadium.
Dave Hibbert's 31st-minute penalty was brilliantly saved by Andy Warrington diving to his left, but the United keeper was beaten from 25 yards after 43 minutes by on-loan Waide Fairhurst's low drive which found its way inside the left-hand post.
Rotherham were never allowed to settle and Ian Sharps did well to clear a Hibbert header off the line, yet the United skipper was out of luck two minutes from time when he deflected a 20-yard shot from loanee Jamie Devitt past Warrington.
Adam Rundle's shot off the bar was Rotherham's closest effort but Shrewsbury held on for their first clean sheet since September.
