Jose Baxter scored two second-half penalties as Sheffield United beat Plymouth Argyle 3-0 to reach the FA Cup third round.
Marc McNulty added a third in the final minute while Reuben Reid missed a penalty for Plymouth a few minutes after the break. The hosts were on top in the first half with Baxter posing a threat to the Argyle defence, having a shot saved by Luke McCormick, another effort blocked and then heading wide. McCormick also parried Ryan Flynn's low shot while Michael Doyle put a long-range drive wide. Plymouth's Dominic Blizzard tried a shot from distance which went narrowly wide and Lewis Allesandra put a free-kick just over. The visitors were awarded a 48th minute penalty following Jay McEveley's foul on Alessandra, but Reid put the spot-kick well over. Baxter opened the scoring with a 55th minute penalty after Ben Purrington's foul on McNulty. Baxter struck again from the spot on 62 minutes after Jamie Murphy was impeded in the area by Peter Hartley. McNulty then rounded off the scoring in stoppage time, meeting Florent Cuvelier's low cross with a near-post flick.
