Leyton Orient dragged themselves off the foot of the League One table with a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Scunthorpe.
It was a second successive win for the Londoners and the second time they have done it having conceding first. Dean Cox missed a great chance to put the visitors in front before former Orient loanee Andy Barcham opened the scoring for Scunthorpe after 31 minutes with a right-footed shot from the edge of the penalty area. It was tough luck on Russell Slade's side, but there were only 45 second-half seconds on the clock when striker Kevin Lisbie raced through the home defence to squeeze a shot under Johnstone for the equaliser. Five minutes later he struck again to put Orient in front with a free header from a cross from skipper Steven Dawson. And centre-back Scott Cuthbert looked to have wrapped the game up for the visitors when he took advantage of some more sloppy home defending to make it 3-1 in the 68th minute, heading home a free-kick from Charlie Daniels. But just a minute later Barcham gave Scunthorpe some hope when he forced home his second of the game following a corner. That set up a tense finish with the home side pressing strongly, but they could not find an equaliser as the O's defended with great resolution.
