In-form Bradford stretched their unbeaten Sky Bet League One run to eight games when they breezed to a 2-0 victory at Scunthorpe.
Skipper Tony McMahon fired them in front from the penalty spot after 28 minutes and full-back Greg Leigh struck early in the second half with a brilliant finish.
The visitors enjoyed most of the early possession but needed a great double save by goalkeeper Ben Williams to stop them from falling behind.
It came in the 19th minute when first he went full length to his left to turn away an angled drive from Gary McSheffrey, then picked himself up quickly to hang on to a follow-up shot from Neal Bishop.
Winger Kyel Reid was the main danger man in the Bradford ranks and eight minutes later the won his side a penalty when he was flattened from behind by McSheffrey.
McMahon stepped up to confidently convert from the spot to give Bradford a deserved lead.
That was extended to 2-0 in the 52nd minute when full-back Leigh joined in a quick attacking break down the left, and when the ball broke for him in the box he steered an excellent right-footed finish into the bottom far corner of the net from an acute angle.
Substitute Kevin van Veen twice had chances to pull Scunthorpe back into the game, first with a header that was well kept out by Williams, and then when he fired just wide with the goal at his mercy.
For Scunthorpe, it was a disappointing way to end a run of four successive home wins.
