Mansfield extended their unbeaten run in League Two to six games after beating Port Vale 4-0 away at Vale Park.
A brace from Zander Diamond and second-half strikes from top scorer Danny Rose and Kane Hemmings sealed all three points for the Stags.
Vale defender Gavin Gunning thought he had opened the scoring when he had a header cleared off the line on 33 minutes by Diamond.
Mansfield took the lead after 43 minutes when Paul Anderson flicked on a cross from Hayden White and Diamond glanced the ball over Ryan Boot in the Vale goal to make it 1-0.
Diamond doubled his tally seven minutes after the interval when he tapped in an Alex MacDonald corner at the far post.
The visitors went 3-0 up three minutes later when White slotted a through ball to Rose whose shot found the net via the crossbar for his 11th of the season.
Mansfield made it four when Hemmings slotted an effort into the corner of the goal past Boot after a precise long pass from MacDonald.
