Hatters claim 2-0 triumph over Notts County
Chris Martin scored one goal and made the other as Luton kept their slim hopes of survival alive with a 2-0 victory over Notts County.
County had plenty of possession and chances as they began in enterprising fashion but were stunned by a superb finish from Martin after 25 minutes.
The young striker, on loan from Norwich, collected the ball following a throw-in from the right, worked it onto his left foot and found the top corner with a stunning drive.
The hosts paid heavily for several missed chances on the stroke of half-time when the tricky Martin was brought down inside the area by Adam Tann and although goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington dived the right way he was beaten by a fierce spot-kick from Tom Craddock.
County had most of the territorial advantage in the second period but there was no way back for them and the best they could muster was efforts from Jonathan Forte and Weston that were off target.
