England Under 21s enjoyed a stroll in the snow after thrashing their Norway counterparts 5-0 in Sandefjord.
Stuart Pearce's youngsters easily handled the wintery conditions with Fraizer Campbell and Adam Johnson on target in the first half.
Tom Huddlestone capped an impressive display with the third goal before substitute Matt Derbyshire struck twice within the space of a minute.
England began positively and Huddlestone set up an early chance for Tottenham team-mate Campbell with a neat pass which the forward fired wide with his left foot.
But Campbell soon got his eye in and made the breakthrough after 17 minutes to record his third goal in as many matches for the Under 21s.
Huddlestone was again the provider, finding his team-mate in space in the box before Campbell steadied himself to fire under goalkeeper Lasse Staw's body.
Chances continued to come against a lacklustre Norway and Campbell had two chances to score a swift second after being set up by Johnson - but he fired wide and then shot over the bar.
Goalkeeper Joe Hart was called into action eventually as both he and defender Nedum Onuoha did well to block shots before David Wheater managed to clear.
Norway's purple patch did not last long, however, and England made it 2-0 when Onuoha set up Johnson who fired home left-footed from close range.
Undeterred
Pearce sent on Derbyshire, Michael Mancienne and Kieran Gibbs in place of Onuoha, Fabrice Muamba and Andrew Taylor at half-time.
Derbyshire had an immediate impact after just two minutes but saw his goal ruled out for offside after getting a touch on Huddlestone's shot.
The Olympiakos forward remained undeterred, however, just missing James Milner's teasing cross before sending Johnson's cross over the bar.
Huddlestone continued to play an influential role and got his reward in the 73rd minute, trying his luck from distance to leave Staw rooted to the spot and make it 3-0.
Derbyshire then got in on the act to add further polish to an impressive performance.
The striker showed typical instinctive running to meet Mancienne's cute ball forward to steer the ball into the left-hand corner.
And he doubled his tally soon after when Milner again sent a quality ball his way which the striker put home with aplomb.
