Cotterill keen to bring in new face following Hill departure
Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill is hoping to bring in a new left-back to bolster his defensive options at the City Ground.
The new Forest boss was forced to field Chris Gunter on the left of his back four in the 2-1 victory over Blackpool on Saturday after Clint Hill returned to QPR.
Rs boss Neil Warnock recalled the defender from his three-month loan stint due to injuries at Loftus Road and he played the full 90 minutes of Sunday's 1-0 win over nine-man Chelsea.
Cotterill has no complaints over the West London club's decision to bring Hill's City Ground stay to a premature end and has been making enquiries over a suitable replacement.
He said: "I don't want to talk out of turn but there have been a few phone calls already.
"We'll just have to wait and see.
"I spoke to Neil Warnock on Thursday and again on Friday. There are no hard feelings there."
