Inter rule out Villas-Boas

Inter Milan have confirmed that Porto coach Andre Villas-Boas will not be filling their vacancy.

And Mihajlovic will not leave Fiorentina for Serie A rivals

Inter Milan have confirmed that Porto coach Andre Villas-Boas will not be taking the helm at Giuseppe Meazza this summer. And the Serie A giants look to have missed out on another candidate for their hot-seat with Sinisa Mihajlovic committing his future to Fiorentina. Inter are searching for a new boss following the departure of Leonardo for Paris Saint Germain just a few months after taking over from the axed Rafa Benitez. Villas-Boas has emerged as one of the most sought-after coaches in the game having worked under Jose Mourinho and guided Porto to Europa League glory this season. But Inter sporting director Marco Branca has moved to quell suggestions he could be installed by the Nerazzurri, with the buy-out clause in his Porto contract one reason for any move falling through. "Villas-Boas will not be the new Inter coach," Branca told the ANSA news agency.

Suggestions

"I find it imperative to make this clarification as there have been numerous suggestions made by the media. "He is attached to Porto and his buy-out clause is simply too huge, but that is not the only reason it excludes the possibility of him being on the Inter bench next season." And Mihajlovic confirmed he will not be switching from La Viola to their Serie A rivals. Mihajlovic told his club's official website: "Last season ACF Fiorentina chose me and I chose Fiorentina, despite having other work offers. "I am happy with the decision I made, which allowed me and will allow me to work with a club made up of professional and competent people. "I hope to continue my profession at Fiorentina for many more years."
