Defender pens new contract with club
Port Vale have confirmed that Kris Taylor has signed a new contract to keep him at the club until the end of the season.
The versatile defender joined Vale on an initial three-month deal over the summer after leaving Hereford at the conclusion of last term.
Taylor has performed impressively during the early part of the League Two campaign and manager Micky Adams announced after the weekend win over Crewe that he would be sitting down with the player on Monday to discuss an extension.
The contract has now been finalised and Adams will be delighted to secure Taylor's services on a more permanent basis.
25-year-old Taylor scored the decisive goal at Crewe and also netted with a superb long-range effort against Sheffield Wednesday in the Carling Cup back in August.
