Bianconeri close on Udinese ace

Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino has revealed that his agent is set to meet with Juventus on Friday. The Turin giants have been chasing the talented 27-year-old for some time, and had appeared to have reached an agreement last week. However, that deal stalled as Juve and Udinese failed to reach a compromise regarding a fee. The Bianconeri are refusing to give up the chase, though, and will now be hoping to persuade D'Agostino's representative that a switch to Stadio Olimpico is a wise move. "Tomorrow my agent will be in Milan (to meet with Juve). Honestly I didn't want to know if the brake on the deal was a problem of money or part-ownership," D'Agostino said. "I have a deal with Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo and so I know that in the end we will respect that deal.

Anxious

"If I were to go to Juve then I will speak with them. Now is not the moment. There was another little stand-by in the deal, but we will evaluate it all in the next few days. "Pozzo is an exceptional person, there are few presidents like him. He is a man of great value. "Our deal is that once I arrived at this level I would go to a big team. He promised me that I would go to a big team. "The clubs will put a deal together. I want to express myself at the highest level and I believe that the moment has arrived. "I am on holiday with my family. We are talking about my career. It's an important jump. There is a little unrest. It's normal for us footballers to be anxious. "I have been a Juventus fan since I was little. It's the club that wants me strongly and I am very happy," he concluded.
