Bantams stopper keen to speak to interested parties

Bradford City skipper Graeme Lee is hoping to sort his future out sooner rather than later, after being told by the Bantams that he can leave the club. Stuart McCall's side failed to qualify for the play-offs this season and have subsequently had to reduce the wage bill by around 40 per cent. The former Sheffield Wednesday centre-half has revealed that some early interest has been shown in his services. "I'm starting to speak to people at the moment and letting know that I am available," he told skysports.com. "If something happens from there then great, but as long as I am enjoying my football and playing regularly I will be happy no matter which club I am playing for. "There are a couple of clubs which are sniffing around, so I will speak to them and hopefully we can get something sorted because at the moment I'm a bit in limbo not knowing where I will be playing next season."

One-year left

Lee still has another year left on his contract, after signing a two-year-deal with the Bantams when he joined at the start of the season from Doncaster Rovers, and he will be more than happy to see out that period if the right move doesn't come up. "I'm still contracted for another year with the Bantams, so if nothing happens in terms of a move that is right for me then I will gladly stay and try to help this club achieve its goals next season. "I had planned to be at this club for at least two years, so it has come as a bit of a shock. I was in the same position last season when I was available and speaking to clubs, but I didn't expect to be doing the same thing this time round."
