Super sub secures first Royle point for Oldham
A goal 12 seconds from the end of injury time denied bottom side Cheltenham a third win in four games as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Oldham.
Danny Whitaker broke Cheltenham hearts after the Robins had turned in another battling display.
Cheltenham made the early running, with Andy Gallinagh firing wide from 20 yards and Elvis Hammond forcing a fine save from Oldham goalkeeper Shane Supple.
And the Robins went in front after 31 minutes when Leon Constantine played a one-two with debutant Frankie Artus, who supplied a cool finish to become the 26th different player to score for Cheltenham this season.
Three minutes before the break Daniel Jones fired a free-kick over from 20 yards, and in the second half Oldham piled on the pressure.
Substitutes Fabio Ferreira and Lewis Alessandra both headed wide from eight yards and Reuben Hazell had a shot blocked.
It looked as if Cheltenham would hang on, but Whitaker took advantage of some tired Cheltenham defending to snatch a point.
