Striker commits future to Pittodrie
Darren Mackie has signed a new three-year contract with Aberdeen.
The 27-year-old striker, who has scored 59 goals in 279 appearances for the Dons, has been at Pittodrie for his whole 10-year career aside from a brief loan spell at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
"Darren is a wonderful lad to work with," manager Jimmy Calderwood told the club's website.
"He is Aberdeen through and through and this is great news for the club."
Mackie added: "I am delighted. I'm really pleased it is sorted out and I can concentrate on playing football.
"I have never hidden the fact I love being here so it was quite easy to get things sorted out. Hopefully during those three years I can have a good time and score more goals."
