Helsingborgs waiting on striker's decision

Helsingborgs coach Bo Nilsson has admitted he is not sure whether Henrik Larsson will stay at the club. The Swedish striker is set to become a free agent later this month and he has been linked with a move away from Helsingborgs. Marseille boss Eric Gerets confirmed over the weekend that he would welcome the opportunity to sign the 37-year-old. Nilsson accepts that Larsson would be an attractive signing for Marseille but he is still waiting to find out if the player wants to move on. "I would like him to stay with us, he is our captain," Nilsson told Le 10 Sport. "We are waiting for his decision in the coming days. He will come back from holidays next weekend. "If he makes the decision to join Marseille, he will be very helpful to that club. "But I don't know his decision. I just hope he will go on playing at Helsingborg." Meanwhile, Marseille have also been linked with a move for Galatasaray's Karan Umit as Gerets sizes up a new striker.
