Zoltan Gera has told skysports.com that Fulham are targeting a top-10 finish this season.

Midfielder targeting top-10 finish this season

Fulham midfielder Zoltan Gera has told skysports.com that the club are targeting a top-10 finish this season. The Cottagers, who narrowly escaped relegation last term, are currently ninth in the table following an impressive beginning to the campaign. Gera joined the London side from West Bromwich Albion in the summer and has been encouraged by their performances under manager Roy Hodgson. He told skysports.com: "I'm not worried about anything because Fulham are doing well and our secret dream is to finish in the top 10 and avoid the relegation zone by a distance. "Our defensive play is very good; we have conceded the fourth least goals in the league. I think I made the right decision when I signed my contract at Fulham." The Hungary international also revealed that Hodgson plans to utilise him on the right-hand side of midfield in future games. Gera added: "So far I played as a left-sided midfielder which is not really my cup of tea. Hodgson and I agreed that from now I should play on the right side. "I'm very happy about it because I feel much more comfortable over there."
