Rotherham United overcame Leicester City 2-0 as their amazing cup runs continue.

Underdogs Rotherham continue to suprise

Rotherham added the scalp of Leicester to those of Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves, Southampton and Leeds with a 2-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win as their amazing cup runs just go on and on. They had to wait until first-half injury time to take the lead with a goal from Drewe Broughton before Dale Tongue added a second. Leicester's best chance fell to Barry Hayles on 41 minutes when he went through on goal but allowed Dale Tonge to get back with a covering challenge and his shot went wide of the target. The miss proved costly as the Millers swept into the lead with a peach of a goal when Pablo Mills was given all the time in the world on the right side of mid-field to pick out Drewe Broughton who side-footed past keeper Paul Henderson. Rotherham doubled their lead and again Mills was the architect. He threaded a pass into the penalty area where he picked out Tonge who lifted the ball over the advancing keeper. When Andy Warrington saved Matty Fryatt's injury-time penalty Leicester knew it wasn't their night.
