Potters boss aims to add to Kitson signing
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is hoping to add more new signings to his squad in the coming days.
Pulis completed his first deal of the summer last Friday when Dave Kitson moved to the Britannia Stadium in a club record transfer.
The Potters are looking to follow up that deal with further recruits and Pulis does not expect his plans to be affected by being in Austria.
"There's quite a few things happening and a lot bubbling just under the surface," Pulis told
The Sentinel.
Flying out
"We're hoping to sort one or two deals out, and it makes no difference that we're out here in Austria.
"The doc has flown out with us to be with the rest of the medical team so they are all under one roof and can work in unison when the time comes.
"If we can do something this week then we intend flying the players out here to join us as soon as possible so we can get the medical done and get them training with the lads."
A goalkeeper is a priority for Stoke, with Sunderland's Marton Fulop rumoured to be the top target after Pulis pulled out of a deal for Scott Carson.
