Striker not looking to kick up a fuss after Colchester's relegation
Kevin Lisbie has again stressed that he will not be demanding to leave Colchester United, despite the club's relegation from the Championship.
The striker has impressed for the U's since joining the club on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic last summer.
He took his tally for the season to 17 in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Leicester City and has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace.
But Lisbie insists he will not be looking to jump ship in the summer, despite his desire to play at the highest level.
"I won't start saying that I want to leave," Lisbie told the
Gazette.
"I want to play at the highest level that I possibly can and I've always said that if I play games, then I'll score goals.
"I have two years left on my contract, so if anything happens it'll be between our club and another club."
