Don Goodman looks at four Football League talking points - and can't wait for 10 live games in 10 days...
Brighton's fantastic comeback against Charlton and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's appointment at QPR were also topics of conversation for the Sky Sports Football League expert after the latest round of games.

Brighton continue to rock
Late goals from Bobby Zamora and Tomer Hemed secured Brighton a remarkable 3-2 comeback win against Charlton, taking them back to the top of the Sky Bet Championship and kept their unbeaten run intact.
The Seagulls, who have now stretched their undefeated club-record run to 20 league matches since the end of last season, stormed back to win after Charlton had raced into a two-goal lead after just five minutes.
GOODMAN SAYS: "I have to be honest, I have been waiting for Brighton to start sliding down the table - slowly but surely. But I gave up that theory about six to eight games ago. It was then I realised that this is a team capable of sustaining their challenge because they have the ability to keep going and going. They never give in.
"If you analyse the amount of games they've been behind in and salvaged points, it's quite frightening. They have got unbelievable resilience, resolve and character. Those are qualities that will get you success. I take my hat off to everyone at Brighton, but particularly Chris Hughton, who was harshly treated at Newcastle United when he was there.
"This is a man who knows what it takes to bring success to a football club at this level. It's quite remarkable what they've achieved. I bet the supporters are loving it."
Oh, Jimmy, Jimmy
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was appointed new QPR manager on Friday with the club just three points off the play-off places following back-to-back wins under interim manager Neil Warnock.
He joins on a one-year rolling contract and will take charge for QPR's next game on December 12 when they entertain Burnley.
GOODMAN SAYS: "When QPR won promotion to the Premier League, they were a team. There was a togetherness about them and that's why despite getting hammered in the play-off final against Derby, they won the game because of the ability to fight for one another. However, since then they have become a group of talented individuals who haven't gelled as a team.
"Warnock started to bring that team unity back and in Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink they have appointed someone that can galvanise a team. He has the skill-set to get that togetherness running through the veins of the club again. That squad has the talent to be challenging at the top end of the Championship - without question.
"The appointment is a no-lose situation for QPR as I think they're in the lowest position that they'll be in all season - the only way is up. I only see them improving. It's a wonderful opportunity for Hasselbaink."
A Royal mess
Reading sacked manager Steve Clarke on Friday after a year in charge of the club.
His departure follows Thursday's 1-0 home defeat by QPR and comes just two weeks after he held talks with Fulham over their managerial vacancy.
GOODMAN SAYS: "The situation with Steve Clarke talking to Fulham and then returning to Reading rarely happens in football. This situation has been quite unique. Once Clarke decided not to take the Fulham job, I think there was a pressure that comes with that decision. Results needed to be unbelievably good.
"Unfortunately, the back-to-back defeats have tipped the Reading board over the edge. A board that knew this is a manager that is open to leaving their club. It was all very messy. Once results started to turn there was only ever going to be one outcome."
10 in 10 adventure
Sky Sports will show 10 live Football League matches in 10 days in a television first in December - and Ian Holloway will travel across the country to follow the action.
The crunch Christmas and New Year period will see 180 matches played across the three leagues and viewers will be able to see 10 standout fixtures back-to-back in a bumper festive schedule.
GOODMAN SAYS: "I'm looking forward to it. It's a tremendous fixture list.
"I haven't seen Brighton play yet this season and two of the three games I'm covering involve the Seagulls - away at QPR on the Tuesday and then a real humdinger against Middlesbrough on Saturday December 19. I'm very privileged to be covering it.
"It's lucky I'm not doing the full 10 games as I can't afford 10 different suits! I think they have chosen wisely in getting Ian Holloway to cover all 10. He is the man that can do it, psychically, emotionally and mentally. He'll probably still be bouncing around at the end of the 10 games, wanting to know when the 11th and 12th games are kicking off!"
Watch the Sky Bet Football League live on Sky Sports 1 HD, where we'll be showing 10 live games in 10 days, starting with Wolves against Nottingham Forest on Friday evening.
