Cambridge vs Oldham preview

Cambridge manager Colin Calderwood has a string of injury concerns ahead of Saturday's match against Oldham.

Though Jake Carroll returns from suspension, Calderwood is waiting to see how a number of players are feeling ahead of the match. Brad Halliday played last week following a calf problem but missed some training in the week as a result, while Rushian Hepburn-Murphy also had a knock after coming on and scoring as a substitute.

Jake Doyle-Haynes is nearing a comeback from an ankle problem but the match will come too soon for David Forde (shoulder) and Kevin Pilkington (wrist), while Liam O'Neill has suffered a setback in his recovery from a hip problem.

Oldham boss Paul Scholes again has no new injury concerns as he looks to spur the Latics back to winning ways. Stevenage's late equaliser last weekend made it four games without a win for Scholes' side, who sit 13th in the table.

Scholes is easing Giles Coke back in following his recovery from a long-term knee injury and the midfielder is likely to be among the substitutes again. On-loan West Ham forward Oladapo Afolayan has made two brief substitute appearances so far and is pushing for a full debut.
