Brazilian outfit Flamengo have confirmed they will lodge a bid with Milan for Ronaldo's services shortly.
Ronaldo is currently a squad player at San Siro and has confirmed his desire to join Flamengo.
However, Milan are unwilling to let him leave for free, prompting Flamengo to formulate to plan to snare his services.
"The Flamengo board is going to present their new proposal in 15 days with all our strength," the club's marketing vice-president Ricardo Hinrichsen told Brasil radio network.
"Ronaldo is closer to becoming a Flamengo player than a few days ago.
"It is much more likely we will find a sponsor with Ronaldo in good shape on the field. If he scores again he will make our job easier."
