Radek Cerny expects Juande Ramos to begin stamping his authority on the Spurs squad during the January transfer window.
Ramos arrived at White Hart Lane in October following a successful spell in charge of Primera Division side Sevilla but has had to wait until now to be able to bring in his own players.
The Spaniard has already told striker Jermain Defoe that he can leave the club and has given Cerny his chance in the first team at the expense of England keeper Paul Robinson.
Spurs have been linked with moves for Middlesbrough's Stewart Downing, Lyon's Fred and Ajax's Klaas-Jan Huntelaar since the transfer window opened and Czech international Cerny expects changes to be imminent.

"During the three years I have been here there has been a lot of changes, the squad is completely different and there is a constant flow of players," he told Czech television.
"That is how football life goes, someone comes in, another one moves out.
"I think that Mr Ramos will be keen on bringing players in which he knows well and that he can absolutely trust.
"It is uncertain whether they will come in now or during the summer, but one way or another I anticipate big changes."

One player who continues to be linked with a move away from White Hart Lane is Dimitar Berbatov and Cerny admits that if the money was right then the club may be forced to sell their prized asset.
"I think the coach will be hoping to keep him as he is one of our best players," the keeper said.
"But if someone offers a big sum of money, like the rumoured £30million, then anything is possible.
"Tottenham can hardly resist an offer like that."
No feud
Cerny was handed his first-team opportunity for the League Cup semi-final first leg against Arsenal and retained his place for the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.
He is obviously now keen to retain the shirt for as long as possible, but revealed that there is no tension between himself and the ousted Robinson.
"We get on very well and have never had any problems with each other," Cerny said.
"Of course he is a big goalkeeping personality and England international and will want to get back in goal.
Big games
"We will see how the situation develops, but I am happy for every chance I get.
"During my Tottenham spell I have been used to playing three, four games a season and now I will have played in three games in a week (if chosen to face Reading on Tuesday), so that is a big change.
"I want to enjoy every game. That is why I play football after all, to play in the big games."
