Matt Le Tissier has selected his combined XI from Tottenham and Chelsea's squads ahead of their Super Sunday showdown, selecting just four of Antonio Conte's champions.
Both Blues captain Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabegas miss out after being sent off at the weekend, while £70m signing Alvaro Morata, Thibaut Courtois and Cesar Azpilicueta miss out.
The London rivals made contrasting starts to the new Premier League campaign, with Chelsea losing 3-2 at home to Burnley while their main title rivals from last season registered a 2-0 victory at Newcastle.
Here's who Le Tiss has gone for in his combined XI ahead of their Wembley clash and you can pick your own XI with our team selector at the bottom of the page...
GOALKEEPER
First up, I'm going for Hugo Lloris as I think he makes a few less errors and was the goalkeeper behind the best defensive record last season.
DEFENDERS
At right-back I'm going for Kieran Trippier as I think he's a slightly better right-back than Cesar Azpilicueta, who looks better in a back three, and Victor Moses isn't a right-back so couldn't play in my back four.
On the left, I'm going with Marcos Alonso as he was excellent last season. He chipped in with some important goals so gets in just ahead of Danny Rose.
It's a really tough call at centre-back and it's certainly not that I don't rate Jan Vertonghen and Gary Cahill, but I just think that Toby Alderweireld and David Luiz are slightly better defenders.
I rate Alderweireld up there with Virgil van Dijk as the best Premier League defenders and Luiz has matured a lot. He doesn't make many mistakes anymore but is still entertaining to watch.
HOLDING MIDFIELDERS
I've gone with the two best holding midfielders in the Premier League in front of my back four. Former Blue Nemanja Matic is obviously decent in that role but I think there's more to N'Golo Kante and Victor Wanyama.
Cesc Fabregas is unlucky not to get in but he'd be my first substitute to come on and would be in there if I was playing a back three, while Moussa Dembele is quality but doesn't quite have the defensive qualities of my picks.
ATTACKING MIDFIELDERS
In terms of my supporting trio, Eden Hazard has to be in there. He's a sublime footballer and unplayable on his day. I can't leave out Dele Alli, who will probably prove to be one of England's brightest prospect over the next few years, and I'm also a big fan of Christian Eriksen. He's very clever on the ball, good from set-pieces, always sees a pass and is a decent finisher as well.
Willian and Pedro are both decent as is Heung-Min Son, who scored a lot of important goals, but the competition in that area is very high.
STRIKER
Then Harry Kane will lead the line because you simply cannot leave the two-time Golden Boot winner out and his understanding with Alli is one of Spurs' strengths.
I'd be surprised if Alvaro Morata got more goals this season as he's only just come into the league, whereas Kane has so much confidence from the last couple of seasons.
As you can probably tell from my team, I don't see Chelsea defending their title this season. Their squad probably isn't as strong as last season and they have to play more games, so it would be a surprise to me if they did win it again.
