Ade Azeez has signed a pre-contract agreement with Partick Thistle after rejecting a new deal with AFC Wimbledon.
The striker helped the Dons secure promotion to League One via the play-offs last month and as he was offered fresh terms and is under the age of 23, the English club will be entitled to compensation.
A Thistle statement read: "The 22-year-old attacker, who has signed a two year contract, will officially join the club on July 1st, following the expiry of his contract with AFC Wimbledon.
"All at Firhill welcome Ade to the club and look forward to watching him in action over the coming seasons."
Azeez, who has signed a two-year contract, scored 14 times in 95 appearances for Wimbledon.
Having begun his career at Charlton Athletic, he went on to have loan spells with Wycombe, Leyton Orient, Torquay and Dagenham & Redbridge before joining Wimbledon in 2014.
Wimbledon manager Neil Ardley told the getwestlondon website: "We offered Ade a new contract, but he has chosen to seek a fresh start elsewhere.
"It's good that his last act as an AFC Wimbledon player was to win the penalty that sealed the victory to help us into League One. We wish Ade well."
