Monaco striker considers future

Czech Republic striker Jan Koller feels his chance to play in the Premier League has 'gone' as he weighs up his Monaco future. The 34-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and is unsure whether he will be retained by the French club. He has been linked with a move to England in the past, but the former Borussia Dortmund forward feels he is more likely to return to Germany, if he leaves Monaco. "My Monaco contract expires in the summer and I don't know much now about what is going to happen then," Koller told CTK.

Motivation

"So far the club has not expressed their visions, so I am waiting and perhaps I will have to look somewhere else. "I would probably rule out England, it is gone now. "If I don't extend at Monaco, then I would possibly return to Germany. "I would like to play one more season abroad, then I will be 36 and whether I continue then or not will depend a lot on my health and motivation."
