Bradford's Carl McHugh made his second appearance for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s in Monday's friendly loss to Portugal.
McHugh, 20, went on at the start of the second half of the Republic's 2-1 defeat at a freezing Oriel Park in Dundalk. He made his debut for the Irish Under-21s in last month's impressive 3-0 friendly win over Holland. McHugh has been a regular for the Bantams this season after making his debut in the Capital One Cup against Watford in August. He has made a total of 26 appearances, scoring three goals, and played every minute of every game in the club's Capital One Cup run to Wembley.
