Nakamura happy at Celtic

Shunsuke Nakamura's agent says the player has no plans to quit Celtic.

Shunsuke Nakamura's agent has rubbished reports linking the player with a move away from Celtic.

The Japanese midfielder's future was put in question after it was suggested four top sides were chasing his signature.

Nakamura's legal representative Angelo Massoni had claimed that schemer had an escape clause in his contract allowing him to leave Parkhead for as little as £1million.

Celtic moved swiftly to reject the rumours and Nakamura's agent Robert Takuda has moved to clear up the confusion by revealing the free-kick specialist is happy with life at Celtic.

"I would like to stress that these reports about Naka are complete nonsense," Takuda told the club's official website.

"Naka is currently preparing for the Asian Cup but straight after this, is very much looking forward to returning to Celtic.

"He and his family are very happy at Celtic and very happy in Glasgow. He has no reason to go anywhere else."
