Internazionale president Massimo Moratti claims that Zlatan Ibrahimovic deserves to win the Golden Ball award for his performances this season.

The Swedish striker has scored 15 league goals for the Nerazzurri this campaign as Inter look set to take the Serie A title.

"He is a sensational player and he's decisive in each match," Moratti said about the player he paid over £16million for.

"Let's hope he will continue in this way, because he would deserve a similar award."

On his club's chances of taking the Italian championship, Moratti is adamant that there is still work to do despite being 18 points clear at the top.

"Surely the match against Roma will be important, because they continue to play in a good way," he said.

Inter are still unbeaten in Serie A this season and the president wants his side to keep it up.

"We must continue with this professionality, and with this pleasure, because it seems to me that players enjoy themselves when they play," he added.
