Bayern Munich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn has apologised for losing his temper during a doping control earlier this month.Kahn has explained the incident following Bayern's UEFA Champions League victory over Real Madrid which saw him and defender Lucio summoned to a Uefa disciplinary hearing on Thursday.
"It was two hours before I could give a sample and then when I brought the beaker to the doctor he said I'd have to do it again because he wasn't present for it," Kahn told the club's official website.
"I was tired, annoyed and at the end of my tether. I'd like to apologise to the doctor. It shouldn't have happened."
The former Germany international has sent a written apology to Uefa and does not expect to be banned for Bayern's quarter-final against Milan.
Kahn added: "I've played over 100 Champions League matches and I've done nothing to be reproached for.
"I assume I'll be playing."
