Silkmen land City youngster

Macclesfield Town have signed Manchester City youngster Nathan D'Laryea on loan.

Macclesfield Town have signed Manchester City youngster Nathan D'Laryea on a month's loan.

The 21-year-old arrived at Moss Rose before the League Two club's 3-0 home win over Hereford United on Saturday.

D'Laryea, whose twin brother Jonathan currently plays in the same division with Mansfield Town, has been with City all of his fledgling career.

Though he has yet to appear in Stuart Pearce's first team, D'Laryea has been a regular in City's reserves this season.

The defender hopes to make the most of his time with Paul Ince's side and gain some first-team experience with The Silkmen.

"I'm delighted to be at Macclesfield, to be honest, and I'm hoping very much that I can get some first-team action here, and help us climb up the table," D'Laryea told Macclesfield's official website.

"Although I have been in the first-team squad on a few occasions at City, I haven't yet made the bench there, so I was pleased that the gaffer put me on the bench on Saturday."
