Duo's bans upheld

Francesco Flachi and Morris Carrozzieri have failed to have their bans overturned.

The Italian Federal Appeal Commission have rejected appeals from Francesco Flachi and Morris Carrozzieri to have their bans overturned.

The pair were suspended for two months in September for their part in a betting scandal.

Flachi (pictured) and Carrozzieri were found guilty of assisting illegal betting on Italian matches last month.

Both players will now be forced to sit out their two month suspensions handed out at the original trial.
