Christian Poulsen's agent has denied reports in the German media that the Schalke midfielder has agreed to play in Serie A next season.Poulsen has been in talks with Milan, but contrasting reports in Germany indicated he had signed for Carlo Ancelotti's side or rivals Internazionale.
The Danish international had agreed a pre-contract switch to UEFA Champions League semi-finalists Villarreal, but backed out of the arrangement in March.
With a minor issue still to be resolved from the split, Poulsen has not yet confirmed where he will be turning out next season.
His agent Jorn Bonnesen dampened speculation a deal was done and dusted, although insisted his client would be ready to confirm his exit in the coming days.
"We have got full control over the situation," Bonnesen told BT.
"We have got an issue with Villarreal, it's a small problem, but it will surely be solved in the coming days."
