Robinho's Arsenal warning
Brazilian forward Robinho has warned Arsenal not to write Real Madrid off.
Real Madrid forward Robinho has warned Arsenal not to write off the Spanish aristocrats ahead of the UEFA Champions League tie on Wednesday.
Arsenal take a 1-0 lead into the Highbury showdown, live on Sky Sports 1, and are considered favourites to advance to the quarter finals.
However, the exciting Brazilian feels the second leg comeback against Real Zaragoza in the Spanish Cup, when the Bernabeu side won 4-0 to agonisingly miss out after losing the first leg 6-1, shows their mettle.
"Arsenal are a very strong team," said Robinho. "Their defenders are tough and they have a powerful attack.
"Besides that, we are going use as an example the match that we played against Zaragoza.
"Many people thought we weren't able to turn around a situation like that but we showed that you can never lose trust in Real Madrid.
"We are used to giving surprises to everyone when they don't expect them."
Robinho is not certain of starting himself but is eagerly anticipating the North London clash.
"I don't know if the coach is going to make me play but I think that all the team is prepared very well," he said.
"I think that Real Madrid are going to show how powerful this team is by reaching the next stage of the competition.
"We all know that it's a very important match for Real Madrid's future in a very important competition. We are all very well prepared and we have big expectations for getting to the next stage.
"It's going to be an excellent match and we want to make our fans happy."
