Ipswich have completed the loan signing of Southampton striker Ricardo Fuller.

The 26-year-old goes straight into the squad to face Wolves on Saturday.

The Tractor Boys boss Joe Royle told the club's official website: "He is a player we have kept in touch with for a while; with Alan Lee out for at least three weeks and our other injuries up front, we needed to bring someone in.

"It shows the ambition of the club that we have found the finances to bring in a player that was playing Premiership football a year ago."

Ipswich are unbeaten in their last eight league games and are currently ninth in the Championship table, eight points off a play-off place.
